Meet Alexis White
As the owner of A-List Admissions and Tutoring based in Los Angeles, Alexis has helped hundreds of students get into their dream colleges and universities. Whether the student is a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior in high school, Alexis White and her team will guide them through every step of the college admissions process: from standardized testing and summer plans, to building a college list, to selecting recommenders, arranging tours, and writing essays. Our college essay writing techniques help students seamlessly weave their interests, passions and goals into an application that “pops”. We keep our students organized through the process and help them tell their unique stories with eloquence and efficiency. We make sure it all “gets in” — on time and with as little stress as possible.

I built a social media presence on TikTok to share my expertise with a wider audience and to connect with students from all over the world and from all walks of life. My Tik Tok platform gives me the opportunity to address the most pressing issues related to college admissions and to create a forum for these students to share their concerns and experiences and to connect with one another.
My students have attended some of the most prestigious universities in the world including: Stanford, Yale, Princeton, Northwestern, Harvard, Dartmouth, University of Pennsylvania and UC Berkeley and more.
Why I Do This
The college application process can feel overwhelming and there’s so much conflicting information out there. Working with students on college admissions gives me the opportunity to quiet the noise around them, and to really help them hone in on their path and what is the right fit for them. When my students move into their dorms and feel like they’re home – when they graduate from college – when they go to law school and med school or start their first jobs, some achieving things they never thought possible – knowing that I had a hand in that gives me tremendous joy.
